Director of Developmental Disabilities Services Delores Fraser McFadden said, “This proactive initiative was designed to provide critical information to first responders about a child or adult with a developmental disability experiencing an emergency situation - such as an accident, elopement, lost child, fire, report of strange behavior - for the best possible outcome.”

“First responders need all relevant information surrounding a call for service at the earliest possible time.  Being provided with accurate special needs information from our 911 Center upon being dispatched to an address that has special needs information associated to it will definitely assist them in their duties.  I congratulate the management teams within our 911 Center and in Mental Health for working together in delivering this important service.”Emergency Services- Comissioner Koury
